“Say to those who have an anxious heart, ‘Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.’ Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped” (Isa. 35:4–5, ESV).

“The Lord announces the word, and the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng” (Ps. 68:11, NIV).

Proclaiming God’s Goodness Releases Miracles

Let me explain the title of this article. One of the reasons for blowing the shofar is it’s a prophetic act. It’s a sound of heaven that awakens us increasingly to the goodness of God. Not only do we begin to sense His goodness, but we also begin to see things in scripture that we hadn’t really seen before.

A few days ago, I happened to glance over Isaiah 35, which is about God sending His blessing and refreshing. The Holy Spirit highlighted verses 4–5. As I read them, He further highlighted, “Say to those who have an anxious heart … ‘He will come and save you’” (emphasis added). The result is “Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the dear unstopped; then the lame man shall leap like a deer.”

This is an incredible promise. Simply put, if I start telling people who have a problem to not worry because God will come and help them, then miracles will happen—blind eyes and deaf ears open. It may be physical healing, or it may be the opening of spiritual eyes and ears. Either way, it requires the power of God and is a miracle.

The key though, is for me to speak/share/proclaim this boldly and with confidence to those I meet who are in trouble. If we want God to come to them to reveal His power and help them, all we have to do is actually say it. When we say it, God will work.

This is how the early church multiplied so quickly. In Acts 8:1–4, we see the believers (except the apostles) were scattered from Jerusalem by persecution. But everywhere they went, they were “preaching” the word. The word “preaching” is very appropriate. It means sharing, speaking, and saying with great conviction. Those scattered believers were telling everyone that Jesus is alive, that He is powerful, and that He will help you. No wonder miracles took place. Hebrews 2:4 tells us that whenever we talk about His salvation, God Himself will make our words believable—He bears witness—by doing signs, wonders, and various miracles.

So, it’s pretty simple. I believe this is one of the keys to the billion-soul (or more) end-time harvest. It will happen because all believers everywhere will be sharing with conviction and enthusiasm that God will come and solve their problems. He will. Miracles will result.

Additionally, I have always been intrigued by Psalm 68:11, which says in the end time there will be a great company of people proclaiming the good news. Many English translations correctly state that this great group will actually be made up of women. We read, “And the women who proclaim it are a mighty throng” (Ps. 68:11, NIV).

Men will be doing this as well, but the scripture specifically refers to women. Ladies, your role will be huge. In any case, whether men or women, the more we proclaim the goodness of God, the more miracles will occur.

Thanks for praying,

Ron and Teddy

Advance by Keeping Your Alignment—Kislev, The Ninth Hebrew Month

November 25–December 24, 2022

The Lord wants us to keep advancing. We do this by keeping our alignment and growing on the foundation of things previously learned. God wants us to develop warfare strategies. We can rely on prophecies He has given us, as well as using prophetic warfare anointing.

A more complete explanation of Kislev may be found here.
