“The glory of the Lord filled the temple. And the priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house” (2 Chron. 7:1–2).
“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful” (Gen. 17:5–6).
Understanding the Anointing on Apostolic Centers
Online Apostolic Center MPP, Week 4
We are now in the fourth week of our online Apostolic Center (APC), and I have come to see there is an anointing on it that affects/blesses all who are connected. When they dedicated Solomon’s temple, the glory of the Lord filled it like a cloud. We could also quote Psalm 133 where God commands the blessing because of unity. We have unity in the APC because we have one aim—to honor the Lord and follow His leading. So yes, there is an anointing or glory of the Lord that fills our APC. Ruth Heflin, a “glory pioneer” who helped us all understand the glory of God, often saw gold dust in their meetings. Whenever there was gold dust—a visible sign of the glory of God being there—there would be miracles of all types. Even people far away would see gold dust throughout the week accompanied by miracles.
Therefore, let me emphasize the following about the anointing on APC-MPP. First, it’s not limited by place. You can be in another nation and the anointing will be there for you. Second, it’s not limited by time. That anointing will be with you and will work on and through you wherever you go throughout the day and week.
We know this is true because when Jesus says He gives His church authority and anointing, He used the word ekklesia, which means “assembly of people with authority.” The church is not a place or an address—it is people. This is why Peter writes, “You also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house” (1 Pet. 2:5).
So far, the Lord has talked to us about two specific anointings, which of course come from the Holy Spirit. They are listed below, as well as a third point on watchfulness.
1. Exceeding fruitfulness—When God put His hei breath on both Abraham and Sarah, He told them, “I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you” (Gen. 17:6). Take note of the phrase “kings shall come from you.” He said this about both Abraham and Sarah. For us, this means there are people we will lead to the Lord who will be mighty in spirit and great influencers. They will have great impact and bear much fruit.
2. Authority to ask for breakthrough and blessing on your city—Look at the Genesis 18 story of Abraham’s interceding for Sodom and Gomorrah from a different perspective. We know that for ten righteous, and maybe even fewer, God would have withheld judgment. Therefore, you as a righteous one (you have the righteousness of Christ) can ask for and expect blessing and breakthrough on your city. That is how precious your standing as righteous is in the eyes of the Lord.
3. Be watchful of backlash—This is important. The devil doesn’t want the APC to succeed and flourish. He doesn’t want you to be fruitful or to use your authority in prayer. He always tries to attack or give backlash. Don’t allow it. Watch for it and stand against it. Ephesians 6:18 states, “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.” This is one thing I must do for you. Pray.
Thanks for your praying,
Ron and Teddy
Blessings for the Hebrew Month of Kislev
Kislev 5785—The Ninth Hebrew Month, December 2–31, 2024
Be Sure to Celebrate
Kislev is the ninth month. The number nine symbolizes fruitfulness, completion, fullness of blessings, and the Holy Spirit (nine gifts and nine fruit). This connects to our having received the “breath of God” as per Abraham and Sarah and the Eleven (see Gen. 17, John 20:21–23), so think “exceeding fruitfulness.” This fruitfulness comes because of the miraculous power of God working in our lives. Rejoice!
