“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick” (Matt. 14:14).
“Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech—unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face” (2 Cor. 3:12–13, NKJV).
“Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness” (2 Cor. 3:12, NET).
“My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me” (Ps. 34:2–3, NKJV).
I am so thankful for the intense—but fruitful—sixteen-day trip to Taiwan, then Philippines, and then Taiwan again. You may have noticed there was no update last week—I felt it better to rest after such a heavy schedule. Here are some points I want to share with you:
Catch The Fire is growing. It was a blessing to minister in Mindanao with Don and Barbara Arney and their network of churches, Our God Reigns. They have done an amazing job of raising church planters who are reaching the tribal peoples of Philippines. What a blessing it was for me and Eddy Thayer to welcome them and their whole network as new members of Catch The Fire Asia. The main reason the Lord told us to join with CTF back in 2019 was that there would be great increase in harvest. This was a definite case of increased harvest!
Pentecost was a time of receiving new anointing and revelation for healing, signs, and wonders. I felt like almost every meeting on that sixteen-day trip was connected to the new anointing being poured out this Pentecost. Also, many of the personal prophecies I gave were about people being anointed for great harvest and that one of the main tools would be through ministering healing. Pentecost is not just about anointing, it’s also about revelation. Clearly the revelation being received now is about ministering healing.
One-day seminar to activate the gift of healing. CTF Sano, Saturday, June 17. Perhaps the most amazing truth about activation is that you already have enough faith and anointing. It’s just a matter of knowing the how-to and then doing it. We have demonstrated this tens of thousands of times in activating prophecy and words of knowledge and words of wisdom. The same principles apply to the gift of healing.
Thus, we are urging people to come and be activated to heal the sick. (You can also watch online.) We are also urging attendees to bring family or friends who need healing so they can be touched by the Lord and healed. So, rather than spending the majority of our time explaining, we want to focus on the actual ministry of healing the sick. We will explain and then demonstrate and activate.
Sessions are designed so that those who need healing can receive ministry right away and then return home as soon as they wish.
Speak and act boldly. God wants us to carry His glory wherever we go. How is this possible? How are we to act so that “God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place” (2 Cor. 2:14)? I believe the answer is in what Paul said in the following chapter: “Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech” (2 Cor. 3:12). We aren’t to be like Moses, who put a veil over his face so the people couldn’t see the glory of God. No, we are to be the opposite. We are to shine as much as possible.
We do this by using great boldness in our speech. No matter what the situation—no matter how difficult things may seem, we need to boldly declare that God is in charge and that He can fix this. He has a solution. This is exactly what David enjoins in Psalm 34. He made his own soul boast in the Lord. In his speech, he continually magnified the Lord. Instead of using human reasoning or measured carefulness, he boasted in the Lord.
I checked what Paul said in some newer translations. It’s not only that we should use boldness in our speech, but we also need to act boldly. We read, “Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness” (2 Cor. 3:12, NET).
Let’s be determined to talk boldly regarding the Lord in every situation, and to act boldly as well. No doubt we will see “God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will” (Heb. 2:4).
Thanks for praying,
Ron and Teddy
