“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death” (Rev. 12:11).

Greetings, Everyone!

I want to report that the Healing Activation Explosion was just that—an “explosion.” Originally, we titled it as a seminar, but then I strongly felt from the Lord to eschew the use of my presentation materials and just follow the flow of the Holy Spirit. We did that, and I want to declare that God really blessed us and did “exceedingly abundantly more than we ask or think” (Eph. 3:20).” Yes, healings happened, both on-site and online. But I know that what the Lord wanted the most did happen—I’m confident most of the participants will continue to grow in power and effectiveness in healing the sick and driving out demons. This will result in advance of the kingdom of God and evangelism.

The main point is that healing and miracles are gifts of the Holy Spirit, which means they can be activated by faith—and thus are for everyone. Faith is the key, but so is following the Holy Spirit. None of this works unless we follow His leading.

How To Advance?

How can we keep growing and advancing after we’ve received “breakthrough,” and the answer is simple—talk about the Lord. Talk about what He has done for you, even if it seems small in your own eyes. Sooner or later, we all need to see that one of the great strongholds of the enemy is in our own minds. That stronghold tells us to not boast in the Lord. It tells us to downplay anything God has done for us. It results in uncertainty, and eventually leads to failure. The story of King Saul illustrates this.

Saul was anointed to be king, and was given several specific signs as confirmations. Perhaps the greatest was that he would receive a prophetic anointing and would “prophesy with [the prophets] and be turned into another man” (1 Sam. 10:6). The signs occurred, and he prophesied so vigorously that people thought Saul had become a prophet (vs. 10–11).

But when he arrived back home, he shared nothing of this. He remained silent. By not testifying, he lost confidence in the Lord and in what the Lord had done for him. Consequently when chosen to be king, he was found “hidden among the equipment” (22). His kingship got off to a shaky start. Saul never grew in confidence in the Lord, and when it mattered most he didn’t trust and obey the Lord’s command. He gave in to his fears, resorted to his own understanding, and made wrong choices that caused the kingship to be taken away (1 Sam. 15:28).

Testimony Is Our Great Weapon!

This loss of confidence and subsequent failure could’ve been avoided if he had simply started testifying about what God had done for him. Let’s leave aside how much others are helped by our testimony and focus on what my testimony does for me. Here is a short list:

1. We honor God, which immediately increases favor. Whenever we glorify God and are thankful, He blesses us more and more. Not doing so immediately puts us on a downward trajectory. Romans 1:21 states, “Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts.” You could say that from the moment Saul chose to not talk about what God was doing for him, his trajectory shifted downward.

2. Angelic activity increases (Luke 12:9;15:10). We know that angels withdraw and their working is hindered when we operate in negativity and unbelief. The opposite is true when we start speaking boldly and confidently about what the Lord has done. They rejoice. Doors begin to open.

3. Demons are defeated. Speaking out often and boldly about what the Lord has done for me is a sure way of breaking demonic power. (Which is why they work so very hard to try to keep us silent.)

4. Increased supply of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit rejoices and begins to move in us (see Gal. 3:5). He definitely doesn’t stay silent or motionless. He begins to move. I find I easily and almost automatically get more insights/revelation. I also find myself getting words of knowledge and wisdom about what my next steps should be. This is how we advance.

5. I am strengthened mightily in the Lord. When my heart (my spirit or inner man) hears what I am saying, it also rejoices and gets excited. I find myself wanting more and more of the Holy Spirit and his working. Confidence in the Lord explodes. I grow.

God wants us to shine in all situations, and has given us a powerful tool to help us. Purpose in your heart to speak aloud the things God has done and is doing for you.

Thanks for praying,

Ron and Teddy

Shining by Declaring

Tammuz—The Fourth Hebrew Month of 5783

June 20–July 18, 2023

Let’s not be like King Saul. He experienced incredible change when he was anointed by Samuel the prophet. Saul began to prophesy—so much that people wondered if he too had become a prophet. However, he refused to share this with his family. He kept his mouth shut about how God anointed him and about how he had learned to prophesy. So instead of being confirmed and growing in confidence in the Lord, he was hindered by timidity and uncertainty. Let’s not do that. Let’s shine by boasting in the Lord and in what He has done and is doing in our lives.

Blessings for the month of Tammuz may be found here.
