Pakistan, Yarn Alive, and MPP
Pakistan—Because of visa issues, we had to reschedule. Pete (my youngest son) and I will now be going from December 13–18.
Yarn Alive (YA)—As of October 1st, YA is now back in full swing. I think this is only the third month this year they’ve had activities. But during the months Yarn Alive was unable to meet, many women kept getting yarn from YA and continued making hats and various knitted items for refugees. Shipments were sent to Philippines, and this month to Moldova and Ukraine.
There is a need for finances to help with shipping. In fact, because of so few classes this year, YA could really use some financial help. If you want to help, please go to “donate” at www.yarnalive.com. Or you can give via Ron Sawka Ministries, but be sure to specifically let us know so we can forward those funds to YA.
MPP—We have updated how we broadcast from Zoom to my Facebook. Some have experienced difficulties, so here is an overall reminder of how to connect:

God is Restoring Fullness of Harvest!
“And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed a certain officer for her, saying, ‘Restore all that was hers, and all the proceeds of the field from the day that she left the land until now’”(2 Kings 8:6).
“[Jesus] Whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began” (Acts 3:21).
About a month ago while we were in Bali, Indonesia, for a Catch the Fire world conference, the Lord showed me a brief vision of restoration. I saw some long-hidden or buried things coming out up out of the ground. It wasn’t clear what they were; I just knew they referred to experiences in our past, and that God was now restoring or bringing them to the surface.
The next day, Teddy and I had lunch with a couple from Canada. As we shared, I learned the wife was also from western Canada like I am. She also had experienced that same powerful revival that I had experienced back in 1972. It was widespread, covering Alberta and Saskatchewan, and touched so many of us powerfully. That revival is what led to me being baptized in the Holy Spirit, and that of course profoundly affected me and changed the course of our life. While discussing that move of God, I began to feel the presence of the Lord somewhat similar to what I felt way back then. I was quite stirred.
Our next meal was with a pastor from Korea. He and I found ourselves talking about the “prayer mountain” led by Yonghi Cho’s mother-in-law. I first visited Korea in 1986 with a group of Japanese pastors for the express purpose of going to the prayer mountain. What started out that night in 1986 as a tiring and somewhat mundane meeting, ended with me being touched by the Holy Spirit and the beginning of a “warrior” anointing. In fact, some Koreans referred to such intercessors as “tigers.” The Korean pastor shared how his own mother was a part of the prayer and intercessory team there. As we talked, I was profoundly stirred—and once again experienced the same feelings as in those I’d had in 1986.
What does this “re-experiencing” mean? Why was the Lord “restoring” those memories? He is restoring them because He wants us to now receive the fullness of the harvest He always intended for those experiences to have! Many of us have had similar experiences of being powerfully touched and blessed by the Lord. Those experiences probably brought wonderful changes and fruitfulness. However, they were only a “firstfruit.” There was a greater harvest that God always intended to come forth. Now is the fullness of time. Now is the time for full harvest.
The story of the Shunammite widow in 2 Kings 8:1–6 illustrates this. The prophet told her to leave her house and land for seven years because famine was coming. She went to Philistia and came back when the period was over. She then made an appeal to the king for her land—and she not only got the land back, but also received compensation for seven years’ worth of harvest.
Think back to the experiences and anointings God has given all of us. They blessed and helped us, but in most cases were only a forerunner or firstfruit of the Lord’s full intention. This is not a matter of failure on our part. Nor is this a matter of not fulfilling an assignment. Rather, it’s a matter of the fullness of God’s timing. Just as the prophet told the widow to leave and come back at the right time, God is now bringing us back to those experiences. Or we could say He is bringing those experiences back to us. Why? Why now? Because now is the fullness of time. Now is the time of full harvest.
For me personally, perhaps I will find God moving through me in revival anointing that compels people to turn to Jesus. Likewise, perhaps He will use me to raise up many into a warrior anointing that will change their nation, just like the “tiger” intercessors so profoundly affected Korea. Since Bali, the Lord has “restored” several other experiences. I expect even more in the days ahead and know that each one will somehow result in harvest.
Together, let’s keep looking to the Lord’s restoring of experiences. We all can and should expect great harvest.
Thanks for praying.

Cheshvan: The Eighth Hebrew Month—A Restoring of Anointing
Cheshvan runs from October 26 to November 24, and is all about receiving of and restoration of the anointing. It’s God’s anointing on us that breaks any yoke of the devil. Its God’s anointing on us that enables us to be used by Him to break the ungodly “anointings” on others and to set them free. It’s also a time of being sure to forget old failures or difficulties, and to see the glorious blessings the Lord has provided instead. A more complete explanation of Cheshvan may be found here.
