“And when you came to this place, Sihon king of Heshbon and Og king of Bashan came out against us to battle, and we conquered them. We took their land and gave it as an inheritance to the Reubenites, to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh” (Deut. 29:7–8).

“Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, ‘Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.’ So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped” (Rev. 14:14–16).

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).

Crossing Over into Fullness for End-Time Harvest

Monday, September 26, is the start of the new Hebrew Year 5783. It is also a new beginning. This year in particular, I feel we will see momentous changes and great harvest.

When Covid-19 really started gaining traction in early 2020, the Lord asked us to pay close attention to the three annual feasts—Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles—and to note that each was a time of divine appointment, alignment, and preparation for us as His army for the coming harvest. God used Passover this year to release a strong anointing to us. And these past six months there has been a continual sense that we’re about to enter something new—something we’ve never seen before.

I believe it is all about end-time harvest. We, God’s people—His church—are to move in Him with the power and authority He has always longed for us to have. We will see signs, wonders, miracles, and harvest just like the early church experienced in the book of Acts. We will see the reality of Jesus’s words: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12).

In early 2020, the Lord drew my attention to Deuteronomy 29:7–8. The children of Israel were positioned to enter the Promised Land. But first they had to pass through Heshbon and Bashan, two kingdoms on the east side of the Jordan. They requested passage, but were refused. They had no choice but go to war, and conquered both kingdoms. The tribes of Gad, Reuben, and half of Manasseh asked for—and were granted—those lands as their portion. Thus, we could say Israel received a part of—but not the full—promise. They were still not in the Promised Land, the land God had promised to Abraham and his descendants.

I knew the Lord had a message for me in this, but couldn’t fully grasp it. In 2019, the Lord connected us with John and Carol Arnott and Catch The Fire (now headed by Duncan and Kate Smith). We were invited to “merge” or fuse together with them as one. By the end of 2019, we had made the decision to merge all of Arise 5 into Catch The Fire. It was only later that I began to see that the above passage was a prophetic picture of promise for us and Arise 5.

One could say that until then Arise 5 was already receiving its inheritance. We were being blessed and used by the Lord. But God wanted to give us more. What we had until then was only a beginning. It was only a small part. Joining—fusing together—with Catch The Fire was like crossing over into the fullness of God’s promise for us. Just as the Promised Land was far greater than what was on the east side of the Jordan, likewise God wanted to give us much more than we had before.

A Prophetic Picture for All of Us Now!

But this picture is for all of us. It is for the church around the world. We are passing into something new. Leaders and prophets around the world know that we, the people of God, are shifting into something we’ve never seen before. Something momentous. What is it? I feel it is the church crossing over into its full inheritance, just like Israel crossed the Jordan River into theirs.

The roughly 2,000 years from Jesus’s resurrection and the birth of the church until today have been like Israel only being on the east side of the Jordan. Many wonderful things have happened in these past 2000 years. The early church was so powerful with signs and wonders, and it quickly grew. The Dark Ages were difficult, but God has been faithful and the church has grown and matured. God has been restoring us to be similar to the early church. Today we see miracles, healings, and many wonderful things from God. Yet we know deep in our hearts that there is still more.

While we are grateful for all God has done these past 2,000 years, I feel that has been just a preparation or foretaste. The land Israel received east of the Jordan was good, but was only a part—only a foretaste. Israel still had to cross over and take the real thing.

I feel that is precisely what is happening now. Now, 2022 (or Hebrew year 5783), is the time. We have been restored. We have been prepared and we will cross over. Just as the Promised Land was so much larger, fuller, and greater than the land east of the Jordan, so will it be with what we, His church, are crossing over into now.

I believe we will begin to see signs, wonders, and healings far greater than ever before. I believe we will fully experience the “greater works” of John 14:12. I believe we will see incredible and rapid harvest. Perhaps this “now generation” will see far greater harvest than ever was reaped in the past 2,000 years.

Yes, it certainly boggles the mind and stretches our thinking. But throughout the Bible God has spoken about a great end-time harvest that will come in very quickly. I think we are entering into it. The time is now.

Thanks for praying

Ron and Teddy

PS – Queen Elizabeth’s Funeral a Confirming Sign? A Japanese pastor friend told me that he watched the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II. He described it as the biggest evangelism meeting imaginable. The God who created us, Jesus who suffered and died for us, the resurrection, new life in Christ, the power of the cross—all those things were clearly stated. The hand of the Lord and the presence of God was on that funeral.

Perhaps we can take that as a prophetic sign that indeed now is the beginning of the great harvest.

Tishrei—The Seventh Hebrew Month and Beginning of the New Year 5783

Tishrei runs from September 26 to October 25. September 26 is called Rosh Hashanah, which means “head of the year.”

Note the three feasts/special days this month: Blowing of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles. Blowing of Trumpets (or shofars)—a daylong event on Tishrei 1 (Sept. 26) heralds the new year. The Day of Atonement on Tishrei 10 (Oct. 5) is the one day when all the people were enjoined to fast. Then, the Day of Atonement is followed by the “Five Days of Awe” to meditate on the awesomeness and goodness of God. Then, one is prepared to enter the Feast of Tabernacles from Tishrei 15–21 (Oct. 10–16). This feast, which emphasizes living each day in the presence of the Lord, is greatly connected to the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. The more we walk with Him in our daily lives, the more He pours the water of the Holy Spirit over us. (See John 7:37–39; Zech. 14:16–18.)

Also note that the new year is a new beginning that the Lord has been preparing us for during the previous six months. When the Lord set His people free from Egypt, He introduced the “cycle of redemption,” and Nissan became the first month (Exod. 12:1). Every year we go through Passover then Pentecost as a kind of a preparation to help us be ready for the new year, which begins in the seventh month. Each year is a new beginning of walking with the Lord, but on a higher level than the year prior. More information on Tishrei may be found here.
