“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself” (2 Tim. 2:13).
“Who forgives all your iniquities, who heal all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies” (Ps. 103:3–4).
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?” (Ps. 27:1).
Healing Miracles Happening Everywhere
Greetings to you all once again. August was our vacation month. We only did a few webcasts. MPP was on pause, and we didn’t send out updates. It was a time of rest, and was also a time of following the strategy the Lord gave us. That strategy was as follows:
Daily declare our identity—we are overcomers; we are more than conquerors; we are the Lord’s warriors—chosen by Him and highly favored.
Shine brighter and brighter no matter what we might be going through.
Expect the Lord to be birthing things on our behalf.
One of the things I have been asking the Lord for is the birthing of an explosion of healing and deliverance miracles. I think that has been happening. In fact, I’m finding out that healing and miracles have been happening far more than I realized. Just this past weekend, I ministered to a group I hadn’t seen for ten years. It was good to see them again and great to hear their testimonies. One testimony came from a woman who previously had an eating disorder for seven years. Her life was being ruined. Apparently ten years ago, this young woman’s mother asked me to pray for her daughter. I prayed, and almost instantly that seven-year disorder was broken and she was healed. Now that young woman is married, a mother, and is living a strong Christian life. Hallelujah!
I love Psalm 103:3. It says healing is one of the benefits of the salvation of God. As surely as the Lord forgives our sins and iniquities when we ask Him, He likewise heals our sicknesses and diseases. Just think about that again. If we can believe that God forgives our sins/iniquities, then we should also believe He will heal us of our sicknesses and diseases.
Why is this so important to God? There are at least two main reasons. First, God loves us. He doesn’t want His people to suffer and have their lives ravaged and ruined. Much of Jesus’s ministry was taken up with “healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people” (Matt. 4:23). He has given that same ministry to us. He wants people to be healed through our faith and prayers because He loves them and doesn’t want them to suffer.
Second, healing and deliverance loosen Satan’s grip over an entire region, and the things of God begin to be birthed. The kingdom of God advances. Jesus crossed the lake and set a man free from a legion of demons (Luke 8:26–39). Jesus and his team soon left, but that whole region opened up. Similarly, Paul and Silas set a slave girl free from an occult spirit (Acts 16). Paul and Silas were beaten and suffered in prison a bit, but the result was Satan lost his grip over Philippi and people began to get saved. An apostolic center was birthed there, and the gospel kept spreading beyond Philippi and into many cities.
This is why Satan fights so hard against healing and miracles, and will do everything he can to convince us not to heal the sick or to thwart us so we think it’s too difficult. We need to understand that each time we pray for healing for someone it is strategic! Not only will someone be healed, but sooner or later something from God will also be birthed. Salvations may soon occur, and new ministries may soon spring up. The more we pray for the sick, the more His kingdom manifests and advances.
I look forward to this fall. I feel we need to emphasize healing and deliverance, and minister them as much as possible. This will result in evangelism and the birthing of ministries and apostolic centers.
We have entered the sixth Hebrew month, Elul. It is a time of victory and help from the Lord. The Lord is our light and salvation (Ps. 27:1). We need not fear that healing will not work, or that the devil can stop us. No, we will keep following the Holy Spirit and praying for the sick and the bound. People will be healed and set free. New ministries, new opportunities, and apostolic centers will be birthed.
Thanks for praying,
Ron and Teddy Sawka
