“And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God” (Acts 3:7–8).
“Wait for the Promise of the Father, ‘which,’ He said, ‘you have heard from Me’” (Acts 1:4).
“I will pour water on him who is thirsty” (Isa. 44:3).
“But in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a sabbath to the Lord. You shall neither sow your field nor prune your vineyard” (Lev. 25:4).
“That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you … each of you shall return to his possession” (Lev. 25:11–13).
Moving in the Prophetic—More Important than Ever
Thank you for praying for the in-person Prophetic Activation Seminar we held in Sano this past Saturday (June 4). It was a full day of training. People came from all over and said they were happy to finally be able to meet together again. As we started, the Lord surprised me by impressing on me that this marked the beginning of something new. We’ve been doing prophetic activation in Japan for many years, but the Lord emphasized that we have entered into a newer, stronger, and deeper move of the prophetic than ever before.
That evening was CTF Sano’s monthly praise celebration, and the sense of entering a new cycle was strongly felt there as well. Several shared the sense that the Lord had shifted everything ahead. Amen! I think this sense of definite shifting ahead is a confirmation of the new anointing God is pouring out on His people this Pentecost.
Pentecost 2022—Three Special Blessings
Our three online Pentecost celebrations were also amazing (links are below). Again, there was a sense of a great shifting ahead. For one thing the number of viewers really surprised me—well over 3,000 on Facebook alone. It was another sign the Lord is moving in a new way.
In each session, the Holy Spirit led differently. A brief summary follows:
Empowered and Raising Up Others Too!
Friday, June 3, English/Russian—The Holy Spirit led us to Acts 3:1–10. The lame man was looking for help, but received infinitely more than he thought he would. Peter grabbed him by the hand and pulled him up. The man began walking and leaping and praising God. What a great picture of being filled with the Holy Spirit. We all must come to realize that in our own strength we are like the lame man. But God wants to fill us with the Holy Spirit. We become alive and vibrant in Him. We become joyful praisers. Just as a whole new life was given to that lame man, so a whole new life of power and joy opens for us. Furthermore, we too are empowered—like Peter—to give a helping hand to others and raise them up. As such, we did an activation—in faith we envisioned and lifted the one we want to rise up, trusting the power of the Holy Spirit to touch them. It was amazing. I hope you try it.
It’s His Promise—He Greatly Wants to Pour the Holy Spirit on Us
Sunday morning, June 5, English/Japanese—The Lord emphasized the depth and power of the “promise of the Father.” He dearly wants to give us Holy Spirit fullness. It’s a sign of His covenant to us. Ephesians 1:13–14 states, “In whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance.” Even though Israel failed to properly respond to each trial between Passover and Pentecost, God still entered into covenant with them. That’s how strong His desire is. He doesn’t want to just give you just “a sip of water.” Instead, He says, “I will pour water on him who is thirsty” (Isa. 44:3). Don’t think you are unworthy or destined to only receive a little. Let Him pour out the Holy Spirit upon you, now and every day, for the rest of your life.
He Has Reset and Restored Us to Our Destiny
Sunday evening, June 5, English/Chinese—The Lord emphasized return or reset into our original destiny. Land ownership in the Old Testament is a picture of this. Every fifty years was the year of Jubilee when all land would revert to its original owner (see Leviticus 25). It may have been taken over by someone else, or greatly reduced because of poor management or poverty or other circumstances. But each year of Jubilee it was “reset.” God wanted no one to be without land because of failure or decisions of an earlier owner. The original family got the land back and a fresh start.
Think of the great destiny God has for each of us. Perhaps we haven’t done so well until now. Perhaps we’ve been limited because of experiences in our past. Perhaps you have come to agree with the enemy that “I am nothing and have no real destiny.” But this Pentecost, I know God pushed the “reset button.” There’s no need to think of the past or be bound by it. With the fullness of the Holy Spirit, our destiny is reset and restored.
A Jubilee year was a time of rest (no plowing, sowing, or reaping). We also have been in a time of “enforced rest” because of Covid. But now we’re coming out of it. We have received new anointing to fully take hold of the great destiny God has for us. Great harvest awaits.
Thanks for praying,
Ron and Teddy Sawka
