“Zion, let not your hands be weak. The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing” (Zeph. 3:16–17).

Greetings!

Thank you for praying and standing with us. I am thankful for how the Lord is spreading His fire here in Asia. You can watch the video of our May 29 River of Fire Conference here.

Time to Shift into Attack Mode

During Monday’s MPP, the Lord gave us the word that it’s time to shift from defense to offense—time to start attacking the enemy. You can access that recording here.

That prophecy reminded me of a dream I had almost thirty years ago. In the dream, I was watching my favorite American football team. To my dismay, they were playing defensively and without confidence. The game was there for them to win; all they had to do was be confident and aggressively try to score. But they didn’t and were losing. I knew the dream meant that we the church in Japan had to rise up and operate with confidence.

I feel many of us have tried to do that over the years, but I think most would agree there hasn’t been as much “rising up” as the Lord desires. So that Monday morning prophecy (June 6) reminded me of it. Not only that, but later that day I received another prophetic word from someone who hadn’t heard that morning’s MPP. They declared, “We are in a time of prophetic fulfillment … seeds that have lain dormant for thirty years are beginning to wake up.” The idea of seeds lying dormant for thirty years really surprised me because that dream was about thirty years ago.

But now is the time to make sure the shift is happening on a large scale. I am declaring it.

How to shift to the attack? I began asking the Lord how does one shift from being defensive to offensive? What do we do so that we are actually attacking and not just trying to wait out the problem and hope for the best? The answer is really quite simple—rejoice and praise. A few points are as follows:

  1. “He has raised up a horn for his people, praise for all His saints” (Ps. 148:14, ESV). The word horn means that praise is a special weapon and strength that God has provided for us.

  2. All of Psalm 149 is about praising God with great rejoicing and exuberance. When we do, it’s like using a double-edged sword against the enemy (149:6) which punishes them (7) and binds up demons and the enemy’s work (8–9).

  3. “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak. The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing” (Zeph. 3:16–17, ESV). Note the following:

    1. “Fear not, O Zion; let not your hands grow weak.” Don’t be worrying and passively waiting, hoping for the best. Be strong. Grab ahold of the weapon/sword of praise.

    2. “He will rejoice over you with gladness.” He is already rejoicing over you. Join in with Him. Rejoice. Praise Him.

    3. “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save.” He is the mighty warrior. When we rise up and rejoice, we can be assured He does His mighty works.

So, if anyone is facing problems—whether financial, physical, relational, ministerial, or occupational—don’t let your hands be weak. Be joyful. Be joyous and praise the Lord. Watch the miracles that will happen.

Thanks for praying. Be blessed.

Yarn Alive Report

Once again, things are picking up. Since April, there had been a restarting and then a stopping again due to COVID concerns. The women keep in contact with each other, and they decided it was better to meet—to get together to knit and fellowship—than it was to stay away. Teddy had to let the decision be entirely their own and that is what they have chosen. Thank you for praying. I still think Yarn Alive is one of the most amazing ministries I have seen. It was raised up by the Lord to meet a definite need. So many are being touched by it. I feel there is so much more yet to come.

Tammuz—The Fourth Month of the Hebrew Year 5781, June 11–July 9, 2021

You May Be Tested, but Make Sure you Shine

This month is about making sure you shine, and one major key is the words that come out of our mouths. We must be positive, stay in joy, and keep speaking with faith and expectation about the promises God has given us. Last month, Sivan, was about how much God wants to bless us. It’s His promise to us because of His covenant with us. Don’t be surprised if you are tested. Actually, we can all expect to be tested. How will we respond? Be sure to respond with faith and joy.

The blessings for the month of Tammuz may be found here.
